Film- and TV law

Our legal advice begins with rights clearance, development, structuring and financing, and extends to all questions relating to the production and exploitation of national and international film and TV projects.

Specifically, we advise on establishing the chain of title and title protection, drafting and negotiating financing and interim financing agreements, preparation and advice during filming including, for instance, drafting crew and cast agreements, location agreements, clearances, and film music contracts.  We also advise on questions of motion picture funding, on structuring revenue distribution and repatriation schedules, negotiating film insurance, errors and omissions and completion bond agreements; on drafting and negotiating national and international distribution and sales agreements, and broadcasting and platform agreements, as well as providing assistance with concluding collection account management agreements and on questions relating to collecting societies and regulatory authorities.

A further core competence lies in advising on international co-productions, including on their structure and financing, in the light of international co-production agreements and treaties and national requirements.
